About the Role

As a General Insurance Investigator, you will conduct factual investigations across a broad range of insurance matters while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and objectivity.

Investigations may include:

• Motor vehicle accidents
• Property damage claims
• Liability matters
• Theft and fraud investigations
• Public liability and recovery matters
• Statement taking and witness interviews
• Evidence collection and analysis
• Comprehensive report preparation

You will liaise with insured parties, witnesses, brokers, legal representatives and insurers to obtain accurate information that assists our clients in making informed claim decisions.

What We Are Looking For

• Certificate III in Investigative Services;
• Current Investigator’s Licence (NSW or VIC preferred);
• Completion of the General Insurance Code of Practice/Code of Conduct requirements;
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle;
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain);
• Experience in General Insurance highly regarded;
• Strong written communication and report writing skills;
• Professional presentation and ability to work autonomously.
