About the Role

As a Workers’ Compensation Investigator, you will conduct sensitive and objective investigations relating to workplace injuries and compensation claims.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting factual investigations into workplace incidents.
  • Interviewing workers, employers and witnesses.
  • Taking detailed written statements.
  • Assessing liability and claim circumstances.
  • Investigating return-to-work and employment-related matters.
  • Collecting and analysing documentary and photographic evidence.
  • Preparing comprehensive, accurate and timely investigation reports.
  • Liaising professionally with insurers, employers, legal representatives and other stakeholders.

Successful investigators understand the importance of balancing empathy with objectivity while maintaining professionalism throughout every interaction.

What We Are Looking For

  • Certificate III in Investigations & a valid Investigator’s Licence (VIC and NSW);
  • Current driver’s licence & vehicle;
  • ASIST Certificate & Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain);
  • Experience in Workers Compensation is highly regarded
